It was just a decent option for a short stint in Istanbul with attractive and competitive value for money. The staff were accommodating during check-in, making it easy to settle in right away. Avoid rooms on the ground floor if you want more privacy.

Rooms are in need of serious renovation. the shower stall in my suite had extensive mold and the edges of the bathroom appeared neglected. Stains on the furniture and lack of clean linens gave off a less-than-ideal impression. The noise from the entry area was intrusive, making it hard to relax. Additionally, the lack of tea/coffee facilities was a hassle.

Consider bringing lighter luggage, as the spiral staircase offers a workout and there's no elevator.

the only thing that saved this place from a complete disaster was the location. unfortunately, the quirkiness of the shower cabin turning into a boat made me question if I was in a hotel or on a reality show. I was utterly shocked to not recieve a complimentary upgrade. if anything deserved it, it was my experience. I almost wrote a good review, but just couldn’t.

The room was great and had everything we needed to cook. The welcoming atmosphere made our stay enjoyable. We loved the rooftop terrace for relaxation and the cozy lounge area to wind down in the evenings. The only downside was the steep stairs, but that didn’t stop us from having a fantastic time! 😊

Our stay at Capricorn By Otantik Suites was fantastic! The kitchenette was perfect for preparing quick meals, and the location near Sultanahmet was ideal for exploring. The staff, especially Robert, were incredibly accommodating and friendly, making our late-night check-in seamless.

The stairs could be a minor inconvenience for some.
